More about Cabrillo Park Street Between Mountain Avenue CA

There are lots of parking options around Cabrillo Park. You can park for $2 an hour in the parking lot on your right when you turn off Highway 101 onto Garden Street or you can park along Cabrillo Blvd for free.

If you’re feeling a little adventurous, check out the bike path along the beach east of the pier. This is an especially pretty spot because it has tall rows of palm trees with views of the sea and cliffs ahead.

There’s also a great skate park at Skater’s Point under hundreds of palm trees on the beach, next to the bike path. It’s a fun place for young kids to do tricks, and the palm trees make the whole experience really pretty. It’s a popular destination for tourists who want to get their biking fix! For a more casual walk, head across Cabrillo Blvd to the Doubletree Walk, which is a long stretch of beautiful hibiscus and tropical flowers.

Restaurants

There aren’t a ton of restaurants around, but there are a few worth checking out. One of the most interesting is Ember, which has some pretty cool decor and serves some of the best pizzas in Arroyo Grande. Another is La Super-Rica, which is popular with locals and travelers alike.

There’s also a ton of burger options, including Wayback’s big-as-button burger. You’ll also want to try the shrimp BLT.

There’s also a noodle hut that has some of the best fried rice in Los Osos, and you can even find egg rolls and curries here, too. It’s worth a stop, especially for hungry kids. The most impressive thing about this place, however, is that it’s open to the public. You can dine in the main restaurant or in the cafeteria-style hut outside. Depending on the time of day, you might have to wait for a seat at one of the tables inside, though. It’s the first time we’ve seen this kind of establishment open to the public in San Diego County.
